Remember 3 months ago, when I was saying how there should be more services that provide video blogging? That it should be easier to upload and play back videos in a blog? At that point, I had already been using www.YouTube.com for 2 months, and was trying out VideoEgg from Typepad.
Is it just me, or has YouTube suddenly exploded in popularity within the last month? In any major site I got to now, there are clips from TV shows, commercials, concerts, and others trying out for "The World’s Stupidest Home Videos."
This got me thinking about how I haven’t uploaded a video in awhile. I figured I might as well throw this video out there. This is from M-Bar-Go, a club in Kuta, Bali. These girls were performing their "sexy dance". I kept looking around the room at the ogling men, thinking, "I hope you know they don’t want you. They get paid to pretend like they do." I had to cut the video short because there was a horny Australian tourist behind me, watching the girls, getting turned on, and trying to rub up against me. EWWWW!!
Update: Showbiz unsure if YouTube a friend or foe [Reuters]

Ahh. And yet again, Indonesia’s net connection comes in clutch - it only took 10 minutes to view your video this time.
Yeah, within a half mile of my house there’s a ’sports bar’ that does topless dancing around 1am (not that I’d know) - and it’s hilarious just watching the rich Chinese guys cough up $20 for the girls to sit at their table for 10 minutes. Sitting. Nothing else. What - like they’re gonna have some great things to talk about? …

They look like the pistol-in-their-bra-toting go-go dancers from Austen Powers.

I agree, it seems YouTube became terribly popular once people began posting them into MySpace comments.
