My dad grows Asian pears too, although they’re smaller than the ones they sell in Korea.

My boss gave me a big box for Chuseok, and I was sooooo excited . . . until they gave me stomach aches. Probably shouldn’t have eaten them with every meal.

As usual, your pictures are gorgeous! Hope you post more often.

Asian pears are pretty expensive in Asia. It was always a “treat” for me to buy a big one at the store in Korea.

Actually, I was thinking of leaving a boxful outside the house, and having people take some. Knowing the Asian mind, some sheisty Asian will surely take the whole box.

I’ll gladly give some to anyone who lives near me.
