It has been raining so much in the Northwest lately - rain, rain, and more RAIN (with gusts of wind).

A few times, the rains will stop, and as the wind blows, you can actually see some blue sky behind the gray clouds. I opened my blinds this morning to get some light into my bedroom, and was pleasantly surprised to see this:

It just looks so funny! The tree is pretty tall because the branches in the middle go straight up, but all the fruit is at the bottom. The wind blew all the leaves off.
Then I looked over and saw the Asian pear tree in the corner. It was almost completely bare, except for one fruit. Can you see it?

It’s amazing the difference from 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Sorry to hear about the rainy weather! Why not visit Bali meanwhile?
It’s directly at the equator & it’s boiling hot the last couple of weeks!
Cheers,
Chris

I’d LOVE To visit Bali again before doing a winter camp in Korea, but money is a factor. Isn’t it always?
