A sprinkling of snow

Mon, Nov 27, 2006

Hillsboro, Oregon

My mom called and woke me up this morning as she went to work at 6:30 am, to tell me that it had snowed and maybe I should borrow my dad’s truck to go to school. I informed her that I don’t drive to school anyway, and take the MAX.

When I finally got out of bed at 9:00, there were still remnants of the light blanket of snow. There was barely any, but it was snow nonetheless.

Snow on my lawn

Snow on my lawn

As you can tell, I love me some macro!

Hmmm…well your ’sprinkling’ of snow looks like what we had just over a month ago. Now we have oodles of snow and it has been -31C for the past week or so. My students are going bonkers because it’s too cold to go outside for recess. Winter is here!

You say that like it’s a good thing! You know I don’t like winter, but I DO love how beautiful it is falling down.

Yes, it is definitely a snowy wonderland here! TIt’s -37C outside today, thankfully I am a tenant and don’t have to shovel the sidewalks! I also love when the snow is falling and it glitters like diamonds!

That’s okay, maybe Google will pick it up and I’ll get more hits. Tits, tits, tits, tits, tits!!!

did you get yourself a macro lens for your rebel or are those from your old camera?

  7. lao-ocean-girl Says:

I *should* get a macro lens, but this is my other lens, a 50mm 1.8 prime. It takes great pictures. It’s the same one I shot the Thanksgiving pictures with.
