Angelina Jolie talks about Bradley Pitt Lao Cook videos

Wow, this is really, really cool… well, for Flickr users, that is. Unlimited uploads… YES! Free accounts are also able to upload 5 times more than they could previously.

Can I pay to keep more of my photos on Flickr?

Absolutely! Upgrade to a Pro Account for just US$24.95 a year. Here’s what you’ll get with a Pro Account:

  • Unlimited uploads
  • Unlimited storage
  • Unlimited bandwidth
  • Unlimited photosets (albums)
  • Permanent archiving of high-resolution original images
  • The ability to replace a photo
  • Ad-free browsing and sharing

Compare that to what you get with a Free Account:

  • 100 MB monthly upload limit
  • 3 photosets
  • Photostream views limited to the 200 most recent images
  • Only smaller (resized) images acessible (though the originals saved in case you upgrade later)

Plus, I love that you can now share photos with non-Flickr members, not have them see the rest of your photostream, or expire the photo link you share with them. Flickr is near perfect now. Now, we just have to wait for the #1 requested feature - subsets!

How do you feel about other blogger using your pictures for illustration purposes? I’ve been doing that and label the picture to give proper credit but not sure how the original owner feel about it.

Personally, I think it’s fine as long as you give credit or a link-back to the photographer. If somehow you’ll be making money off someone else’s pictures, you should contact them first. Usually, people are happy to get their photos publicized in other places.

Thanks Lao ocean girl, I’ll keep yours’ in mind the next time I need pictures for my story. BTW, cool blog, I love your pictures.:)

    hey LOG

is it just me or your text is hard to look at with the type background you have setup? i can barely see your replies or USERID/email/website input.

as far as the flickr, i’m not a real big fan because they seriously have limited users to such a tiny amount of albums. at one point it was only 20MB of upload per month, but as i can see they’ve probably have had a lot of ocmplaints in regards to how tiny 20MB is in the grand scheme of things. it has improved just a bit.

never mind. i just opened up your site with FireFox 2.0 and it seems to be working fine. i can see all the text and others. although it seems to funk up with IE7.0 just FYI.
