Hello there,
I stumbled upon your blog through a link on another blog (sonofmiizii.blogspot.com). Anyway, it seems you and I are leading curiously parallel lives. I taught English in Japan for three years, and came to love that country and culture just as much as you so obviously love Korea.
Like you, I have a keen interest in photography (we’re both using the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT), and I REALLY enjoyed the photos you’ve posted on Flickr.
Anyway, I thought it would be nice to say hello, given these coincidences. I hope to check out more of your blog soon, and what I’ve seen so far is a real enticement to do so!
All the best,
Michael

Thanks for dropping by. I also checked out your photos and really enjoyed them. Manhattan is such a vibrant place, and you really seemed to capture that. I’ll make sure to drop by again.

Hello again,
Sorry to bother you …
Your Korea photos on Flickr are great! I envy your sense of composition and your ability to see the picture within the picture — that is, not focusing on the obvious shot, but rather the shot within that shot; in other words, less is more.
At the risk of seeming like a shameless self-promoter, I invite you to visit my online photo portfolio, which features photos I took during my years in Japan, where I lived in a very small town in a rural area. I wonder how I would have looked back upon my experience if, like you, I had lived in a big city. Anyway, it’s at http://www.pointfocusclick.com.
All the best,
Michael
