I can relate to this article because I get up at 6:00 am every day, even on the weekends. I used to be a night person, but have slowly been turned into a morning person. I really enjoy watching the sun rise every morning and waking up to a relatively quiet city. Even as I write this around 8:30 pm, my body is getting tired and I’m thinking about bed. I usually end up sleeping around 9:30 pm, and today will be no different.

Ah, the joys of getting older. I used to get by on little to no sleep, but now I’m not as flexible as I once was, I’m slowing down, and I’m noticing little aches and pains that weren’t there before. It’s affecting me more and more each day. And, I’m still relatively young. I just hope that I don’t become as stooped over as some of the older women here in South Korea are. I blame that on the short stubby brooms. The Korean teachers still can’t come with a good reason why they don’t sell longer brooms over here. It’s no longer about being short, as many of my students are my size (5′11″) and taller.
