Tom Selleck as Indiana Jones?

Pop Culture, Television

I wanted to sleep in, but the dog was barking at 7 am, and I couldn’t go back to sleep. I was reading my feeds and came upon this - Top Movie Reversals. It lists famous movie roles that different actors turned down. Could you imagine Edward Norton with the lead roles in “Man on the Moon” or “American Psycho?”

After that, I watched episode 67 of Silver Spoons on YouTube. This was followed by an episode of Silver Spoons that included Justin Bateman. Man, I miss “Arrested Development.”

Today will be another busy day. I’ve got a lot of errands to do, including looking for an estate lawyer to probate my dad’s property since he didn’t have a will. It’s all really confusing and there’s so many hoops one needs to jump through. At least it’s a beautiful summer day here. Highs are expected to be in the upper 70’s.

Sorry to hear about all the estate stuff, I know from experience what a drag that can be.

I think everyone, no matter their age, should have a will. Especially if they own real estate. It makes things so much easier.

That’s pretty cool John. Thanks for the link.
I love that we’re now able to put music, video, and podcasts on blogs. It’s really interactive these days.

It’s funny how they only had one TV reversal (Buffy), but besides Tom Selleck being unable to get out of Magnum p.i. which I am thankful for, as well as, Pierce Brosnon not leaving Remington Steele for James Bond due to his contract.

The most jarring reversal for me would have had DeForest Kelley who played Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy playing Mr. Spock instead. The role he originally wanted and auditioned for.
