It’s finally the weekend again. Even though my first week of classes wasn’t a difficult one, it was very busy. There were class changes, confusion with rooms, moving offices, revamping our English conversation program, and getting to know new hires. The idea of heading to Gangneung for the weekend floated around, but that’s not going to happen now… especially with today’s rainy and overcast skies. Plus, Brad and Philippe are coming over today. Philippe will be here in a few hours because he’s bored. It’s probably because it’s raining and he can’t play baseball today. Brad will be here tonight and staying for awhile since he’s working in Suwon this week, and not Seoul. (Suwon is four stops south of were I live.)
I got a chance to sleep in and woke up at 8:00, but continued to stay in bed and read for an hour and a half. Have a breakfast of Eggos, bacon, and hot chai, I’m getting caught up on blogs and such.
- I’m so glad Kristen Bell will be on next season’s Heroes! She’s great, I love her.
- Speaking of Heroes, you can start here and watch deleted scenes from the first season. The promo for Season 2 is here.
- The Flight of the Concords are hard at work writing songs for Season 2.
- The first 17 minutes of Prison Break’s season premiere can be seen here. I’m glad Season 3 will return to its original roots - Prison.
- I need to print some templates from the Hipster PDA this week.
- My uncle Tee is at Burning Man this week. More discussion of this year’s BM here.
- I need to back up my Mac, but it always gets pushed to the background, doesn’t it? If you have a Mac, what program do you use for backups?

I can’t believe you just spoiled Prison Break for me. I had no idea they got put back in prison. Grrrr…
You seriously don’t back up your mac? Dude, Novita’s Macbook hard drive died all of a sudden after only 8 months - no warning sign.
I use and love SuperDuper - http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html
It’s free and kicks a$$. Please backup at least once a week. Just clone your drive to an external - that way if your mac does have a problem or got stolen, you just plug that external drive into another mac and you’re good to go. You can start it up from that drive and all your programs, data, preferences, etc will be exactly as you left them.
