Korea, Out and about, Photos, Seoul

The Flickr Meet (Meet-up/Meetup/whatever you want to call it) was fun, even though it was a bit far away for me - Olympic Park Stadium. There were a lot more people at this Flickr meet than before. Our total came to 21! It was nice that so many people were there, but at the same time, it was difficult to talk to all who were there.  I tried to meet new people, but didn’t get a chance to talk to everyone. Oh well… at least the meetings are bi-weekly, so there’ll be another Meet-up soon.

Remember all those chips I got from the Flickr Launch party in Seoul?  Well, I turned them into calling cards.  It seems like everyone else had Moo cards, though.

Bill had some cool cameras he brought along.  The Holga wasn’t working properly, and we’ll have to wait and see how the picture I took with the “Seagull” turned out.  I’ve never used a camera where I had to look down before.  It was kind of trippy.

First we went to Starbucks (because it was raining) and then to SOMA (Seoul Olympic Museum of Art). We even got the group discount because there were 20 of us, making our ticket 4000 won each.

Back to work tomorrow.  Before bed tonight, I need to read the first chapter of a design book I’m teaching tomorrow… oops.

Jeff, it’s a Holga. This is what one of the pictures looked like. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bweisner/1311284967/in/pool-flickrinseoul/
