For awhile, I’ve noticed the photos I’ve uploaded in Flickr were faded and washed out, even though they looked fine on my computer. I had some time and finally went looking for an answer. Simply put, Flickr strips the color profile of the picture, resulting in the dull photos. You can read more about it here. I don’t want to go back and convert thousands of pictures to sRGB, so I’ll try to do it from here on out (if I can remember and have time). Ugghhh, what a pain in the ass. As a side note, if you view Flickr through the internet browser, Safari, the pictures appear “normal”.
