Valentine’s Day Eve Are Mac owners snobs?
Feb 18

Last week I went out for dinner with Ras and Jenay in Suwon, near the subway.  I think the place was called Kebab House, or something generic like that.  Of course the food was delicious.  She always recommends nice places.

Before leaving, I bought one of the chicken masala mixes and attempted to make it last night!  It was all very simple.  Below are the ingredients: Sakthi chicken masala mix, 3 chicken breasts, half an onion, and coconut paste.

The directions on the back of the package weren’t very good.  Basically, I had to use 50g of the masala powder and 1kg of chicken, but after that, everything else was up in the air.  Take a look:

How much chopped onion, coconut paste, or water should you use?  Whatever you felt.  The package for the coconut milk was also as vague, and I improvised on this too.  Half of this cup felt right.

Coconut milk makes everything tastes better.  :)

The end product was good.  It wasn’t quite restaurant quality, but I’d definitely try the recipe again and tweak it a little.  I’ll use chicken thighs and drumsticks next time, since I’m not a big fan of chicken breast, but it was all I had.

Great picture of the curry. Oh the chicken thighs and drumsticks in curries is just delish. I’m also not a big fan of chicken breasts either. I give my hubby the white meat and he gives me the bone parts.
