Last week, I went up to Yongsan to pick up toss link mini cable adapter for Ras. If you don’t know what it is, it’s not important. All I know, is that it makes the stereo sound good. I found the shop on the 6th floor with no problem, and it only cost 1000 won, so I bought two. Afterward, I had lunch at California Sushi. I also made a mental note of trying out a new Japanese style ramen place, across from Popeye’s.
I dropped by the bookstore and did a little browsing. I found the travel section and flipped through a Bali travel guide. I find that guide books like Lonely Planet or Let’s Go try to cram a lot of information into one book, with few pictures. On the other hand, Asian travel guides are more specific, with a plethora of color photos and details. I’d pay extra money for these kinds of books. It’s especially useful when you’re trying to find your hostel at night, and have no idea what you should be looking for.
By the way, this is what Emart looked like the day before Valentine’s Day.

Korean girls are Valentine’s Day crazy. In the check-out line, I saw one girl with 15+ chocolate gift packs, with each one being at least 8000 won. Who did she give them all to?
