I think it's an acquired taste. I like it because it's slightly sweet, non-carbonated, and isn't "fruity" like Gatorade.

Pocari Sweat? I used to drink that stuff in Japan, but I never missed it. Maybe it tastes better than I remember it...

Wrenchbender, I know what you mean. Even though my mom makes good "cau thom," my grandmother at 85 years old, makes the best.

I also really like "khanom thian," which has shredded coconut and palm sugar inside.

Mmmmmmmm, Nam cau. ahhhhhhhhhhh, Pho.......... but with a lot more meatballs.

I think my last supper would have to be just a big honking bowl of Poh Lao (5 spice) that's it, nothing else.

There's a thai store down here near Osan that makes some pretty good nam, compared to us being in Korea.

"If I had to choose one, it’d be bo-saam. It’s fatty, I know, but delicious."

Lucky Charms! One of my favorite cereals too.

Entertainment? It'd be a compilation of melodic and mid-tempo songs by Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, The Eagles, The Cure, Damian Rice and others.

By the way, what would be your last entertainment choice? Song, tv show, movie, or book?

Mine would probably have to be the Star Trek episode "City of the Edge of Forever." It started my love affair with the medium.

I'm glad to see that the word "supper" is surviving; however, my last supper would be based around my favorite meal, breakfast.

A large bowl of Lucky Charms cereal followed by another of Count Chocula both drenched with whole vitamin D milk.

Then a few crispy slices of French toast heavily coated with powdered sugar and with a couple of scoops of Blue Bell rocky road ice cream (If I'm going out, it will be an a sugar high).

Fresh sliced orangeglo and crimson sweet watermelon, savor charentais melon, pineapple, mango, peaches, nectarines, plums, grapefruit, strawberries, and blackberries.

Assorted fruit kolaches--no prune though.

Sticky cinnamon and apple rolls with plenty of pecans and raisins.

And fresh squeezed orange, grapefruit, and pineapple juice to wash it all down with.

Lastly, I'd like a couple of real dill pickles without any sugar involved in their making and some Lay's original potato chips with a Pepsi.
