Cold Season Already?

(Mural in Itaewon – near 3 Alley Pub)

I felt a cold coming on and therefore wore my glasses today.  Kristy (bless her heart) gave me some medicine her mom sent her from Australia.  The cold hasn’t gotten worse, but I felt really tired today.  I’ve just got to fight it off until next week, when my schedule will be much lighter and I’ll have time to rest.

Plans this weekend:

  • Friday:  party at Courtney & Shane’s
  • Saturday:  Halloween costume shopping and drinks with Curtis in Itaewon
  • Sunday:  (maybe) dinner at Jenay’s

I’ve got something planned every weekend for the next 5 weeks.  I’m a busy girl.

Where and when you going costume shopping? I was planning do to the same thing. Going to the Halloween shop in Sadang (strangely enough it’s called Halloween). I was there last year and they have EVERYTHING.

How about 4:30 pm at Sadang Station? Ras is busy from 3-6pm in Itaewon. I’ll message you on Saturday.

any chance to get going earlier? If “Halloween” has the stuff I need, then I’ll need to get to the suit shop later, too

‘I felt a cold coming on and therefore wore my glasses today.’

Sorry, S, what’s the connection between a cold and glasses?

Whenever I feel a cold coming on, my body aches and even my eyeballs are tired and sore. Since I wear contacts, I let my eyes rest by wearing glasses.

I can’t believe you couldn’t read my mind when I wrote that ambiguous sentence!

I’m a mind-reader. I knew what you meant. It helps that I’m (supposedly) a glasses wearer, too.
