Darkly Dreaming Dexter
He doesn’t know it yet, but when Ras gets home, we’re watching Dexter tonight while having fajitas. I’ve been holding off on starting this new season because it’s such a good show. Like desserts I shouldn’t be having, I like to have a small collection built up before devouring them. If I don’t, I get disappointed that I can only consume one.

Oh yes. This season’s Dexter is very, very good!
I’ve found “Dexter” to be a bit off this season. His impending fatherhood and new-found best friend seem to have taken some of the edge off. Also, for an imposing serial killer, he looks rather puny whenever he and Jimmy Smits are standing next to each other.
However, there is a new show on Biography called “Why I Ran” about these morons on the road who run from the police and lead them on these dangerous high-speed chases. It’s refreshing to see so many of them now spending quality time behind bars now that the states are cracking down on them.
I do hope that Sam Raimi’s “Legend of the Seeker” is decent. It premieres the first week of November and is based on Terry Goodkind’s work.
