Thanksgiving at Jenay’s

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!  I spent last night at Jenay’s for a turkey dinner.  Of the nine people there last night, I think only two were Canadians.

I liked both of these sweet wines, but the one on the right had a nicer after taste.

Salad and carrot soup.

mmmm…turkey. I’ve taken to cooking my own turkey every year whether or not we have guests. You can always get one fairly cheap the week after the holiday.

That and turkey stock is about the tastiest stock ever. Great for making soups.
