The Roots in Seoul (Melon-AX Hall)
I’m leaving in an hour for the The Roots concert – their first performance in Seoul. I’m meeting Ras, Brad, Eddie, and one other at Gwangnaru station (line 5). It’s an expensive show, with general admission at 88,000 won and reserved seating at 110,000, which includes drinks and finger foods. We bought the reserved seats. To tell you the truth, I’m not a huge Roots fan, but I’m up for anything, and Ras loves the them. You can’t put a price on memories and experiences, therefore the sticker shock doesn’t bother me.

Are you bringing your camera gear? Would be a great chance to do some low light work!
I would, but audio and visual recording is prohibited.
“The Roots have specifically requested that audio and visual recordings are be be prohibited at the event. Security has full prerogative to confiscate your recorders, cameras, and/or phones for the purposes of deleting any materials illegally recorded. We remind you that we reserve the right to pursue necessary legal action if you do not comply.
You will not be allowed to bring any field glasses or professional cameras unless these are permitted.”
I wanted so bad to come see the show. I would have paid anything but I live in Daejeon and I don’t get out till late. I’m seething in jealousy!!!!
