Go HERE to listen to it. It’s a terrible song. Plus, there’s nothing American about the artist, other than the fact that she works in Las Vegas. Her name just screams CANADA!
I hope Obama doesn’t make the same mistake.

That’s the name of our university’s student festival, which will be held tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday. All afternoon classes for those three days will be canceled, and the cancellation of morning classes are at the discretion of the professors. A typical university festival will include food, sports, activities, and of course, a concert. The main headliners for our Wednesday night concert will be MC the Max and Lexy. Now, I don’t know anything about MC the Max, but I DO know who Lexy is. I find it peculiar that she’ll be performing at at such a small Christian university (around 3000 students). I mean… doesn’t she have better things to do?? Is she just booking anything that comes up? I don’t mean to make our university sound bad, but the venue is so small. It’s like say that Jessica Simpson will be performing at “Western Baptist College” in Oregon.
Lexy is coming back from a two year hiatus, and has hit the airwaves with this video:
Old Lexy: Let Me Dance

MC the Max is a three member rock band. I’ve never heard any of their songs, but I’m interested to see this group, since they actually play their own instruments.
MC the Max covers Sublime’s Santeria.
Other singers at the concert will include: TurtlesFamily (???), Paran (??), Younha (??), ?? of Click B, ???, ??? (Tacopy), and ???? (Two Guys).
I’m at home, writing some quizzes and listening to Pandora. Today will be my last day of listening, since I won’t be able to tomorrow. I received this message from them today:
Dear Pandora listener,
Today we have some extremely disappointing news to share with you. Due to international licensing constraints, we are deeply, deeply sorry to say that we must begin proactively preventing access to Pandora’s streaming service for most countries outside of the U.S.
It is difficult to convey just how disappointing this is for us. Our vision remains to eventually make Pandora a truly global service, but for the time being, we can no longer continue as we have been. As a small company, the best chance we have of realizing our dream of Pandora all around the world is to grow as the licensing landscape allows.
[blah, blah, blah....]
Man, internet radio has been getting attacked lately. At least NPR is helping lead the fight. (I emailed my congressmen to complain.) Now I’ll have to switch to last.fm even though I liked the song selection in Pandora better.
Last night it snowed a little bit, but today turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day (but cold). Today, I’m listening to Valentine’s Day Mix from Finetune (made by Whitney from PopCandy). Check out Finetune - it’s the new Pandora. Instead of playing random music, Finetune lets you create playlists that can be share with others.
Wishing you all a day full of handmade valentines, chocolate cupcakes, and love.
I like Justin Timberlake’s latest single, “What Goes Around Comes Around,” so I thought the video might be good too. His acting skills are AWFUL. It was painful to watch the first 30 seconds of the video the video. “I happen to think I’m a lot of fun.” - TERRIBLE.
By the way, the video is about Justin’s best friend Trace Ayala, who was engaged to Elisha Cuthbert (of “24″ fame) who left him for NY Ranger hockey player Sean Avery.
