I found this photo of a polaroid I took exactly one year ago today. It’s a picture of Kristy and I at Courtney’s birthday in Gunpo, South Korea. Ahh… good times.

(I figure that if you can read Korean, you can know my real name.)

Speaking of the lovely Kristy, I got a care package from her today. She knows me well because it was stuffed with lots of yummy stationary. I do miss all that cute stuff in Asia. And I miss her.

Here’s a line of clothing called “Kimchi Blue” from Urban Outfitters. I think more than anything, the name caught my eye.

My mom picked up a “Desert King” fig tree today. I don’t think I’ll be around to see it bear fruit, but I love fruit trees, so I’m excited nonetheless. A cut up fig can be seen here. This variety is good for the cooler climate of the northwest.

Anyone know where Mao restaurant in Iatewon is? We’d like to have peking duck there tomorrow night. If we can’t find it, My Thai-China sounds like a good alternative. It’s on one of the side street by “3 Alley Pub”.

Weird Stickers

These are stickers I saw yesterday in the stationary section of Youngpoong Bookstore at the Express bus terminal. Are children supposed to be buying these (1000 won) just in case they get kidnapped and their captors happen to be easily swayed by stickers of crying boys that can balance a toy house on one finger?

These aren’t real perfect people. Real perfect people ride on unicorns and rainbows follow them everywhere.

These are my favorite Halloween themed cards from Someecards:

A big group of us (10+) will be at the Kabinett Halloween costume party tonight. Unfortunately, I won’t be dressing up as a slutty witch, a slutty nurse, or a slutty school girl. Slutty costumes are SO 1980′s-2007. Instead, I’ll be going as a cute-but-not-overtly-sexy pirate. The only regret I have is that my costume is a dress. It’s going to be cold tonight and I wish I was covered up more. It should be fun times!

No More Daily Tweet Digests

There will be no more daily digest blog posts from my tweets. It was fine at first, when they were nestled in between my blog posts. On the other hand, when I didn’t post as often, the digest seemed like lazy clutter. Therefore, you’ll have to subscribe to my tweets or click on the box to the right to see “what I’m doing.”

This photos is from a walk in Daejeon with John and Ras on Sunday. We dropped by a convenience store for some ice cream. Unfortunately, I was too eager and didn’t lick the popsicle first. I felt like Flick, from A Christmas Story, who got his tongue stuck on a frozen lamppost. Mine wasn’t as severe (nor was it my tongue), but it lasted at least 45 seconds before finally melting off.
