Wed, 07 Mar 2012 06:35:29 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3 Flying to Kuala Lumpur Tomorrow http://lao-ocean.com/2008/12/19/flying-to-kuala-lumpur-tomorrow/ http://lao-ocean.com/2008/12/19/flying-to-kuala-lumpur-tomorrow/#comments Fri, 19 Dec 2008 14:28:47 +0000 lao-ocean-girl http://lao-ocean.com/?p=1071 It’s almost vacation time!  My bags are packed, but I’m not taking much since I’ll only be gone for two weeks.  My camera gear is about the size of my clothes and toiletries (below).  As of this writing, I’m still not sure whether I want to take my backpack, or small suitcase with wheels.  It’s such a short trip that I wonder whether I need to “backpack” it.  As Ras said this morning, “This is the lamest trip we’ve ever taken.  We know exactly how, when, and where we’re going.”  We’ve never even gone on a trip where we stayed at a hotel before, but instead opted for rustic and cheap.  The three days we’re spending on a hotel in Hong Kong would pay for two weeks (probably more) in SE Asia.  Nonetheless, whether I rough it, or wheel it, I’m looking forward to tomorrow.

Eddie and Gisela will also be joining us on this trip.  This is a chart Eddie made at work.  Yeah, he seems to have a lot of free time on his hands.  I edited December 31st, where my name was written.  Otherwise, this is all Eddie’s doing.
