Ras flew in last night and I went to meet him at Incheon Airport for his 9:30pm arrival. The last bus to Gunpo is 10:30pm, but we made it out of the airport to catch the 10:10pm bus home. Unpacking was a lot of fun because it was like Christmas! I received things I requested, and was suprised by things I didn’t ask for. One of the things I really wanted, but he couldn’t find after searching at three supermarkets, were Chewy Sweet Tart Minis. Gisela gave me a pack once, and I’ve been hooked. Ras did get me a pound of chocolate covered gummy bears, though. I’m savoring them and have only let myself eat 6 bears so far.

Any notions of going to Caribbean Bay (a water park) tomorrow have been utterly squashed by looking outside the window. It continues to rain, with no immediate end in sight. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the rain will end by Monday, but that’s three days away.
Here’s a short video of the rain, as I went out to get a carton of milk.
Instead of the water park, we’ll hang out with Gisela and Eddie tomorrow in Suwon. Hopefully Kevin will also be able to drop by. Then on Monday, we’ll be taking a trip to Daejeon for a little bit.
